[News] Steven Ma films a car crash scene and a resident calls the police

Steven stands to the side, waiting his turn as Linda films a ‘jumping over the fence’ scene.

Yesterday, Linda and Steven ma were filming on 硤尾street for TVB’s new series Lucky Father. The scene they were filming was a very realistic car crash scene and one resident thought it was a really car crash. This led the resident to call the police, saying that there was a motorcycle up on the pedestrian footpath which had hit a few people. Police and the fire brigade arrived on the scene soon after, discovered that it was a misunderstanding(they were filming, and it was not a real accident). Only then, another woman got in the way of them filming by standing next to the motorcycle. Then according to Steven Ma, the woman became agitated because Steven had left the air condition running in the car which was parked by the road. She claimed that they were not being eco-friendly and would not leave, getting in the way of filming. Steven responded, “I only used the car for getting dressed and then I would turn off the ignition, but that woman kept on disrupting filming by running up to us and yelling that we were being selfish and heartless! I just grabbed Linda and walked with her back to car. We did not have any contact with her because we did not want to provoke or irritate her. We waited until she left and then we just continued filming the rest of the scene."
