A year after signing with Stars Shine, Linda Chung is finally back with a new album. Love Love Love is the popular TVB actress/singer's fourth album... Read More
Before starting to talk about Witness Insecurity, let's talk about something I hate. Ads. All those ads you have to see before the actual video starts running. -.-
Anyways...episode 7 of Witness Insecurity starts of with the concert! As you can see from the picture, there are alot of people. Don't you feel sorry for the WPU team for having to guard everything? Anyways, one of the invited guest is a very famous classical musician (she's the girl with the blonde hair), that lots of people are asking to take pictures with. Why am I mentioning her? She's quite important later on....
Sitting in the resting room to see the others perform, Ji Lam (Linda Chung) was getting very nervous seeing them. When they got back in...surprise, Ji Lam came over to compliment their performance. This is a big deal! Even though it's just a simple comment, it came from Ji Lam, whom barely spoke to them before. Ji Lam is really beginning to open herself :) It's also very sweet how they comforted her (she was really nervous) before the show too.
It's time for Ji Lam's time to shine! The music was beautiful :) All her family members were so proud of her. It's actually a very heart-warming scene. When she was finished, everybody was clapping including Hui Sir. OMG!! It's so cute how they looked at each other :)
As everyone claps, the famous musician (the one I talked about before) went on stage with bouquet of flowers to give to Ji Lam. What I forgot to mention before is that the "actual" famous musician was knocked unconscious before, and an assassin took her identity. So when she got close to Ji Lam, she suddenly pulled out a gun. Luckily Ji Lam held her cello up in time to reflect (bad choice of word...but my brain can't think of another one at the moment) the bullet's aim and so it did not hit her internal organs. Maybe Ji Lam remember what Hui Sir (Bosco Wong) said before about cellos being able to block bullets :P
In the chaos, Hui Sir picked up Ji Lam and ran for the exit. This scene is totally worth fangirling over....it was so sweet! The theme music played in the background made it even more touching. Despite everything, Hui Sir just charged ahead with Ji Lam in his arms and using his body to shield her....haha Gong San (Paul Chun) and Gong He (Ram Tseung) were also behind them but soon ran out of breath from all the running :) Bosco is so cool in here!! I love him so much!!
Aside from that though, why were there so many doors to go through in the first place? There were like 5 doors...that is one big building.
Thank goodness Ji Lam is alright, but Gong San is still enraged. He's definitely going to get back at the Hung brothers...They promised that everything was over, but it was only part of their plan. They only wanted to lower Gong San's awareness so that they could have a better chance of killing Ji Lam. Everything was apparently planned before hand, even the concert.
Ji Lam is then release from the hospital. Haha it is so sweet seeing how everybody treated her like a princess (well...they already do that), caring for her so much. Like usual, of course Gong He would crack a few jokes here and there but Ji Lam laughed, her wound would hurt. So then Gong San ordered him to stop making jokes haha. Gong San then told her that they would get the cello fixed but Ji Lam didn't want to because it meant replacing a part of the cello. Ji Lam then found out that Hui Sir hurt his shoulder blade when he charged her through the doors. She got really worried :(
After this Ji Lam had another meeting with her doctor (Queenie Chung) to see there are any changes after event. Oddly, there is no signs of emotional stress after such an event, but there was something on her mind....one can guess it's about Hui Sir's injury.
Ji Lam then decided to go find Hui Sir, but the WPU team said is was taking the day of due to his injury. Luckily at that moment, he called in to see how the WPU team is doing and so Ji Lam got the chance to speak to him on the phone. Haha so cute...you could see that Ji Lam is very concern but she was also very nervous speaking to him on the phone. After the phone call, Ji Lam relaxed again and played smoothly on her cello.
It surprises me that Ji Lam did not get scared from the gun shot...maybe it's because Hui Sir was there to protect her?
To get back at the Hung brothers, Gong San hired three professional code breakers from Bangalore to hack the Hung's computer system. You can say that Gong San is good but also bad in some ways. He really wanted to make peace with the Hung Brothers but in the end, they crossed his line and therefor he took things into his own hands.
Hacking the Hung's account is something that Gong San did not tell Gong He. Gong He knew that he's hiding something from him, so he tried to get his brother to talk. They ended up arguing and guess who shows up? Ji Lam entered the room. Haha she was so cute! She knew that they were arguing so wanted to stop them...using her super powers! lols Ji Lam asked them if they're arguing, of course they did not admit it. They told her that they were only having a discussion. So then Ji Lam sat down in her dad's chair and told them just to carry on with their discussion. Haha she knew that they would not argue in front of her! Her victory smile in the end was so CUTE!!
I'm quite jealous of Ji Lam for having Gong San and Gong He beside her. They're always there to back her up and to care for her. To both of them, I believe that nothing is more important than Ji Lam :)
The next day, Ji Lam was picking up the plants that got knocked down by the wind. Haha Hui Sir came buy and she kept on stealing glances at him. While pulling back her hair, she smudged some dirt onto her face without noticing...haha so cute!! She kept on looking at Hui Sir, hoping that he'd notice her...and all he notices is the smudge on her face. He was about to tell her when Gong He came in, who then told her about the smudge. Hui Sir smiled as she scattered of. LOLS!! His smile was so CUTE!!! I kept on replaying it :D Haha such a winning smile :) Then there is Ji Lam who was so cute and shy!
Gong San then told Hui Sir that Ji Lam filmed a commercial when she was small. That night, Hui Sir went to search it up...SO CUTE!!! The commercial was adorable, Hui Sir can't stop smiling :)
After the hackers hacked into the Hung account and got all the info, it still wasn't enough to get the government to hunt them down. So in the end, Gong San decided to make a fake account to transfer $800, 000, 000 into their account in order to raise their priority to the government. Wow...that is ALOT of money! Anybody who goes against Gong San is definitely in trouble :P In the end, the Hung brothers were hunted down by the government and dismantled. Both of the brothers were shot dead, while the third one still remains in jail to be trialed (about Gong He's shooting). Now the trial is the only thing they need to worry about.Read More →

Yesterday Linda Chung, Lee Yee Man, Ram Chiang and the cast of TVB series Witness Insecurity (WI) attended the promotional event. Last week, the ratings averaged at 32 points and peaked at 35 points. Linda was very pleased that the series rating increases by 1 point each week and may become the top rated series of 2012. Linda expressed: "This is the series that got the best feedback in the 8 years I've been in the industry. When I'm out on the streets, people come running to me and say they really like watching me and Bosco as a pair and praised that my theme song is good. There are even fans who set the theme song as their ringtone. (Is it rumored boyfriend Philip Ng's ringtone too?) Don't know, you guys ask him!" Known as the 'stingy girl', Linda plans to host her first celebration dinner this Friday (7/27) to reward the cast and crew and also watch the 2 hour finale together.
It was said WI plagiarized ATV's old series The Cops Affair starring Joey Meng and Jackie Lui. Linda said: "I saw the report too, but I didn't watch the ATV series, so I'm not sure if it's true. Similarity is not considered plagiarism. Every series that has good results will bound to have gossips." She then changed the subject to her theme song becoming ringtones on her parents and fans' phones.
Lee Yee Man hoped WI will have a sequel, so she can be a policewoman again. When asked about her love life, Yee Man said: "I've been dating for several years already!" When asked if her boyfriend is like her ex-boyfriend Chan Siu Kei, a soccer player or an athlete? She said: "How is that related? My boyfriend works in an office. Our relationship is stabled. I must respect my boyfriend, shouldn't talk about my ex!"
Hello everyone, I'm Ginny, a new co-author here! :) I haven't seen all of Linda's series yet, but I still wanted to talk about my favorite Linda characters. So, here are my top 5:
5- Ko Yu Chu in Daddy Good Deeds
This is the last completed serie of Linda that I watch and I really liked Ko Yu Chu's character. She was very funny (The whole serie was funny :P) but she was also a very warm-hearted cop. I also really enjoyed the family relationships because each character was extremely family-orientated.
4- Miss Koo in Yes, Sir! Sorry, Sir!
I think this serie really showed a different side of Linda's acting and she really did a good job at acting cool. Throughout the serie, it was interesting how her relationships with others (Law sir, Miss Hoo and the students) changed from cool and serious to kind and friendly.
3- Ng Say-duk in Can't Buy Me Love
In this serie, I liked Linda's character because she was so friendly, kind and honest, like when she revealed that Chiu Yeung was the real princess and not her. It was also funny to see how much she could eat and how strong she was in the first episodes :)
2-Yu So Sam in Moonlight resonance
This serie was the first serie I ever watched and also my favorite serie! It made me like Linda, Tavia Yeung, Fala Chen, Raymond Lam, Bosco, Chris Lai and Michelle Yim. It was also because of this serie that I started watching other TVB series...so...Yu So Sam was definetly my favorite character in the whole serie. She was very honest, like when she told the truth to the police about her grandmother's death. She was intelligent and made good decisions, even if it was though for her to betray her mother. Her relationship with Goon Ga Jai (Raymond) was also very interesting, how they loved each other when they were young, how they came back together, Ah Sam's mother's opposition, how they can't be together because of their different social class and because they're stepsiblings, how Dr.Ling (Bosco) came in between them...etc. So I really really really enjoyed this serie!! ;)
1- Sze Ka Ka in A Journey Called Life
Sze Ka Ka is my favorite role of Linda yet. I LOVED to see her evolution, how she was became from a "bad girl" to a well-behaved girl after her friend's death, how her hairstlye and clothes changed, how her relation with Shing Yat-On (Steven) and his family changed and how her relation with her own parents changed. Her relationship with Shing Yat-On also went through many obstacles, like his mother's opposition, their marriage ruined by Ka Ka's stepmom and the loss of their baby. So, this is my favorite character of Linda because we could really see how she evoluated all through the serie :)
An article from the magazine on the filming of Blissful Ferris Wheel.
In the series (Witness Insecurity), Linda Chung plays a rich girl who, due to witnessing a crime, is in danger of being hunted down by the criminals. Luckily for her, the police force assigns the Witness Protection Unit to protect her. Led by Bosco Wong, the team ensures that she remains unharmed. In the upcoming drama (Blissful Ferris Wheel) (temporary name), her character as a social worker for a charity group has none of the riches (from her character in WI). She helps people look for their loved ones, who have gone missing due to natural disasters, wars, or family issues. In the process, she gets attacked. But this time, she can only protect herself, in bid to prevent herself from getting hurt.
caption 1:Turning Pale With Fear
Linda Chung gets ambushed with a sudden attack from the mysterious woman on the streets. It scares her till she turns pale. When Jason Chan sees Linda being threatened with a knife, he immediately comes forward to rescue her.
caption 2: Discovering The Truth
While she is looking for a kidnapped baby, Linda Chung finds out that a mentally unstable woman has taken the baby. Hence, she ends up being trailed by this woman.
Fans Turning Unwelcome People Away
In the show, Linda Chung works as a social worker in a charity group, and together with her colleague in the series Jason Chan, they look for missing people. Earlier, both of them filmed a scene where, because they were on the case of a baby who had been kidnapped, they ended up being attacked by a mentally unstable lady. To film this scene, Linda Chung took ample precautions and wore protective gear. She said: “Actually I’m used to filming (scenes) where I have to fall on the ground and get knocked around. Every time, I would wear protective gear, plus each time there’ll be professionals around who’d teach me how to film these scenes. Hence there isn’t a need to worry at all.” She laughed, “I’ve never been attacked in real life, because I’ve my manager and my fans to protect me.” She said, “My fans and manager love me a lot; and if there are people who are over-enthusiastic around, they’ll help me turn them away. So I’ve never been in those (sticky) situations.”
caption 1:Making Ample Preparations
Linda Chung, who has always been serious when it comes to work, and her partner Jason Chan, memorize and practice their lines together. They prepare for their roles well, and naturally filming goes on smoothly.
caption 2:A Friendly Side
When they were filming outdoors, Jason Chan and Linda Chung met quite a few fans requesting to take pictures with them. Both of them warmly welcomed it, showing their friendly sides.
caption 3:Admiring The Good Stuff
In the show (Blissful Ferris Wheel), Linda Chung has a secret crush on Jason Chan. In real life, she honestly shared that she admires his positivity, and his ability to take care of others. No wonder he’s followed in Moses Chan’s footsteps and is acknowledged to be one of the “better, higher quality” male artistes!
In the recent year, Linda Chung has been promoted as one of the first line TVB FaDans. She does acting and singing, charged into the music scene, released several albums and sings the drama theme songs. As she continuously climbs up in her career, she hopes to keep her love life low-key. Earlier, rumored boyfriend Philip Ng complemented that she's a 110% girlfriend. She also praised him back and said he's a good choice for a husband, but the two have not admitted to their relationship.
In Linda's latest series Witness Insecurity, she plays a rich girl with clinical depression and is protected by her father. In reality, her parents have taught her since childhood that she must not be at a disadvantage to any guy, so all along, she had been very careful when choosing a partner. She knows to take it step by step when meeting guys. Linda rarely has rumors, she said: "There are lot of people making their relationships public now. If it's good, then it's good, but when it's not good, then there will be a lot of trouble that comes along. I am a person, who gets familiar with others slowly, I have to know the person for a few years before I develop further with them." The rumor with Philip has been going on for 5 years, is it still not the right time to go public? "Five years is just how long we have known each other."
Linda and Philip often keep in touch by phone, and have already met the parents: "My parents have seen all my friends. He also likes to bring his parents everywhere he goes. Philip looks really strong on the outside, but in fact he's very attentive." When asked if he would make a good husband? Linda said: "I think he's a good man, meets my standards. I'm a strange person, but he's patient."
When she first debuted, the passive Linda was not used to communicating with strangers, and usually kept everything inside: "Can't say it's depression, but sometimes I would cry at home, thinking that there are people bad mouthing me." After she entered the industry, she started to understand sometimes you have to take things slowly.
When speaking of the end of the year awards, Linda expressed let nature take its course: "I'm not good enough yet, still have great room for improvement." Last year, her 'Miss Koo' role lost the 'My Favorite Female Character Award', but she learned to accept the circumstances. "When a good role comes along, then you won't be able to stop the award from coming. Perhaps it's not the right time now." Linda supports Tavia Yeung because she is a very hardworking actress.
[The Sun] In episode 10 of Witness Insecurity, Netizens found a discrepancy. The plot was about Cilla Lok asked to delete the photo of Bosco Wong and Linda that she uploaded on social networking site (Friendsbook), but once she logged into the site, the webpage turned into Fansbook. The scenes were extremely inconsistent! Also, a Netizen suspected Linda's theme song plagarized Ivana Wong's A Touching Second (一秒感動) since the first 5 tones were the same.

THIS IS MY THIRD TIME WRITING THIS POST! Omg...I can't believe it..first my sister accidentally deleted my tabs and the first post was not saved. And then the second post, I was half way through the summary when I accidentally closed the tabs again...ugh!!! So yah...third time writing this...so excuse the lack of details.
In the previous episode, we found out Ji Lam's (Linda Chung) traumatic childhood event. When she was young, her parents were often away due to businesses and so she grew up with her older brother. They were extremely close since he's always there to take care of her. One day they were at the beach and built a sand castle. Ji Lam took a picture of the castle before the waves destroyed it. Unfortunately the picture flew into the ocean and so her brother went to retrieve it. The waves carried the picture further and further and as he chased after is, he got caught in the currents. Too young to do anything, Ji Lam could only yell for help while witnessing how the waves took her brother away. After this, Ji Lam withdrew herself from the world and ended up with the mood disorder...
Now onto this episode, the WPU team is accused of stealing some money from Gong San's wife (Rachel Kwan), who left the money in her purse. In the end, Gong San (Paul Chun) told everybody to forget about the event since he did not want it to affect their operation. Despite his orders though, Wai Sum (Bosco Wong) carried of the investigation because he wanted to clear the team's reputation since they know Gong San did really believe one of them stole the money. Seeing that, Ji Lam wanted to help him out. Result, she found out who took the money. Surprisingly it is her uncle, Gong He (Ram Tseung), who took the money. He took it when Gong San's wife was in the washroom and she didn't hear that he wanted to borrow it because of the running water. Luckily the money were sequenced so it was easily recognize, since Gong He had forgotten he borrowed it. It's only when Ji Lam saw the sequenced money in his purse that triggered his memory.
To thanks Ji Lam for her help, the WPU team wanted to give her some sort of plant (Ji Lam loves gardening) as a thank you gift. In the end, Wai Sum chose to give a cactus. Lols this was so funny but yet cute...who'd give a cactus as a gift? Haha just quite unexpected. Ji Lam was so happy receiving it though. I want a cactus too :P But it have to be given from Bosco Wong...haha.
We know that Gong He was shot by Hung Fei, who is now waiting in jail to be trialed. His brothers tried everything they could to get rid of the only witness of the shooting, Ji Lam, but failed. In the end, they came to a truce with Gong San. In return for an easy life in jail for Hung Fei, they promised not to cause any more problems (ambushing Ji Lam etc). Hung fei was enraged by this when the brothers told him...but later accepted it. No more worries for Gong San...
A famous music agent (pianist), Mack Hartin, is coming to Hong Kong and would like to perform with Ji Lam's sinfonietta. Of course that would be dangerous for Ji Lam since it will be open to a big audience...security will have to really tighten for it. At last, Ji Lam, Gong San and Gong He were able to convince Wai Sum to hold the concert. Ji Lam is really excited for this since she really admire the pianist.
After that, Ji Lam often practice at her old house (the one where she lived when she was small with her brother). One day, on their way back home the wind suddenly took her scarf away. It is her mother's scarf and it blew down the slope. Wai Sum then went down to get it and spotted a skeleton, with a back pack and a ring. He suddenly burst into tears....Ji Lam didn't know why.
We then got to know later from Gong He that the skeleton found is actually Wai Sum's girlfriend. She have been missing for eight years and Wai Sum have been looking for her all these years. Back then, they were suppose to meet up for a very difficult hike (in Sai Kung) when Wai Sum suddenly got called for an operation. After that day, she went missing because of a storm. Wai Sum took a leave of work for 3 months to look for her in Sai Kung but never found anything. Still he continued to search for her...for eight years. Coincidentally, when he went to retrieve Ji Lam's scarf...he finally found her. Turns out she've decided to go to their usual trail in Shek O...that's why Wai Sum never found her in Sai Kung.
Eight years...that's a long time. At first I thought his girlfriend was still alive but apparently not. Wai Sum is such a dedicated man...So then the funeral was held for her. She has no family members...so Wai Sum organized everything. None of the Kius attended, but all sent a flower basket...including Ji Lam. Afterwards, Wai Sum disperse her ashes into the sea since they've wanted to live on a boat together before. Flashbacks of the couple flashed into his head as he rode of in the motorcycle...maybe it's time to let go?
Once again it's time for Ji Lam to meet with her doctor (Queenie Chu). She asked Ji Lam to draw a house, a tree and a person. According to her, Ji Lam drawing shows a positive response. The picture includes a house with an open window..showing that Ji Lam is willing to open herself to contact the world, the tree have few marks on them, showing that she've been in a peaceful mood and the girl she drew is opening her arms, saying that he's willing to communicate with others. Beside those, she also drew a car and a lamp. The car represent the new people in her life (WPU team) but the lamp says that she's ok with them. Quite interesting how these therapy works...
So now, the WPU team is getting ready for the concert ;) Let's see what will happen in the next episode!Read More →
